I am fond of beholding nature and capturing the unsurpassed beauty of God’s creation. Early this morning as I held my cup of hot tea, my cousin excitedly asked me to bring my camera. Without inquiring about the reason I ran to my cup-board, took out my camera from the case and ran towards the window. It was a peacock, beautiful as it is, standing on the fence of my front garden, at cockcrow.I started clicking shots randomly. Soon it spread its colorful feathers in order to itch its body. Strange, huh? A peacock with all its feathers intact in this season is a rare sight. As per my observation this showiest of all birds, shed all their feathers during or after rainy season. I’ve not checked on Google the authenticity of my experienced scrutiny, although often I thought of doing so.
However, I kept on with my shooting and photography. It was then, when my camera arrested in its LCD screen, a small kid in school uniform, with a heavy bag on his back, walking hastily as if getting late for the school. My hands automatically bent down. I did not behold the nature or the peacock with rare sight of feathers in this season, anymore. I was awfully saddened by the boys pace in this busy life. He didn’t even drop a glance at this beauty. Probably a strict teacher or incomplete homework or some class test ruled his mind, heart and even soul. Suddenly I felt the need of taking a pic of this little boy passing by the peacock. I did so… with the purpose of adding an appropriate image to my blog post. Quite aptly said:
“What is this life if full of care? We have no time to stand and stare…”
